Product Review: Gucci Infinite Precision Liner
I am very excited to give my review of this product because as a makeup artist, cream and gel liners are possibly one of my favorite things to ever grace this world. Why are they so wonderful, you ask? Let me tell you.
1) They work as either a liner or a shadow.
2) They are the best base for creating a multidimensional smoky eye.
3) They hold onto the skin and melt into it so that you get one even layer of product on the eye area.
4) They add so much depth to the eye area.
5) It is impossible to get fall-out.
I could seriously go on and on about cream/gel liners in general. But that isn't why we are here. We are here to talk about the Gucci Infiinte Precision Liners.
First, let me start off by saying the only thing I don't like about these is the fact that they only come in four colors: Iconic Black, Cocoa, Midnight Blue, and Iconic Otaanio. I love these so much that I want them in every color of the rainbow, and then some. The consistency is so rich, so creamy, so smooth, and both blendable and buildable. So let's talk about payoff for each color.
Iconic Black #10: Intense black, no blue/green/grey undertone. Matte finish.
Cocoa #20: Rich brown with a ruddy undertone. Very warm. Matte finish.
Midnight Blue #30: Deep cobalt blue with a slight micro-fine shimmer. Velvet finish.
Iconic Ottanio #40: Intense teal with slight micro-fine shimmer. Velvet finish.
My favorite is Iconic Ottanio, but that is because I am completely partial to anything that falls on the spectrum from teal to cerulean. All of these colors are stunning in person, though, and I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a solid cream liner/shadow with staying power.
